WHO is it…It is the Lord

“Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalms‬ ‭100:3‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Many times we can find ourselves fixated on acquiring the tiny details of our lives. We want to know when a certain event will occur, where it will take place, how it will all come together and even why we have wait for it to happen.

I have found that it is easy to vacillate in the questioning stages of life and move from room to room in my mind wondering about all the details which at my present moment, can truly serve no purpose.

As a result of this back and forth mental quandary, I can lose sleep, peace of mind, clarity and focus. I have found that I also can begin living from a place of fear, impulsiveness, impatience, arrogance, disobedience, distrust and I’m sure the list can go on and on and on.

As a child of the King, the daughter of the Omniscient One; my posture at all times for every decision should stem from a place of trust in my Father.

I am able to rest and have peace:

Knowing it is He WHO has great plans for my life (Jeremiah 29:11)

Knowing it is He WHO says that He will never ever ever leave me (Hebrews 13:5)

Knowing it is He WHO will establish my steps (Proverbs 16:9)

Knowing it is He WHO will provide for my daily needs (Luke 12:28)

Knowing it is He WHO is able to keep me and present me faultless before the presence of His great glory (Jude 24-25)

Knowing it is He WHO gave His life for me so that I might live (John 3:16)

Knowing it is He WHO has controls my future (Psalm 37:23)

Knowing it is He WHO rescues my soul from so many different kinds of graves (Psalm 116:8 and Psalm 56:13)

Knowing it is He WHOse love I can rest in (Matthew 11:28)

Knowing it is He WHO is my strength (Psalm 28:7)

Knowing it is He WHO is my comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

Knowing it is He WHO is my joy (Habakkuk 3:18-19)

Knowing if I ever find myself lost or cornered, it is He WHO rescues me (Psalm 46)

Knowing it is He WHO will work all things together for my good because I love Him (Romans 8:28)

Today, I want encourage us that above knowing how all the puzzle pieces will fit together, it is most important to know the One WHO is in control of the pieces.

Our manual reminds us over and over that, Abba is in control. Yahweh knows our ends from our beginnings which means He is well aware of the in betweens too.

So, during all our seasons, not just through this COVID19 crisis, let us deliberately keep our minds stayed on Him.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Until next time, I love you, I am praying for you.

Remember, His Promises are our Guarantee…🙌🏽

    1. You’re most welcome, beloved.

      I agree with you 1000%.

I love what you said about training our minds – whew- that’s definitely something to be practiced for sure. ABBA’s blessings to you and your family always🙏🏽❤️

  2. The unhealthy, chaotic thought patterns you talk about are the ones that seem to show up in the middle of the night. I guess I should commit my mind to the Lord even before I go to bed at night as well as first thing in the morning. 😉

  3. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

Just for you sister! (And whoever else reads it) 🙂

  4. Wonderful post, sistah! I love all those “knowings.” Knowing helps SO much. It’s a light unto our path. Thanks for sharing that light. We don’t keep it under a bowl! Nope, not I said the fly. 😄

  5. It is during times like these that we know with assurance that He cares for us…don’t you think? Although most of us are unable to come together on worship days to collectively praise God with like-minded people…modern technology is in place where with some ingenuity, services and godly teaching can go forward. Yes, a lot of sorrow exists, but know is in CONTROL brings comfort. Well spoken in your blog. Blessings, always my child.

Knowing it is “He” should give us rest. May I find rest in Him always and not try so hard to fix things by worrying about anything when He is in care. 🙏🙇

    1. Amen little sis, Amen!!!
Knowing He loves us certainly allows us to lay down in peace. I’m reminded of this verse, Psalm 4:8 which states, “In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.” ❤️🙏🏽

Yes sis. He is the crux of our being and existence. I can’t imagine coming this far without Him. I wouldn’t have made it this far actually. Thank God for God. 😀
