Prayer of thanksgiving

Father,

You have heard my cries

You have flooded my soul with joy, filled me with peace and oh how I find that I am delighting in You even now

Thank You Father for reminding me that it is okay to be vulnerable

Thank You for showing me that it is okay – to not be okay

Thank You for giving me a family in cyberspace that is able to extend love and support in palpable ways

Thank You for Your grace and Your mercy

Lord, the small and humble beginnings, I confess that I don’t like them much but now, I thank You for them

Thank You for the process too Lord. I find that I tend to kick and scream but somehow, You remain patient with me and say “Daughter, you must endure”

Thank You for not being swayed because of my tantrums – silent and vocal. You are determined to finish that which You have started and that’s that.

Thank You that I don’t have the final say, You do which is great because You know how much mess I would continue to make

Thank You for hearing all our cries. Each and every one of us.

I ask Abba that You would visit each reader and mend their broken hearts. Lift up their hung down heads. Restore to them Your joy, Your love, Your peace.

You know the various needs Lord, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, financial, social, environmental – and every other “al” there is.

Daddy – show up in our lives. Sometimes we think we want You to “fix” the issue, but many times, we just need to be reminded that You are with us and that You care.

Envelope us in Your presence. Wrap us in Your embrace. Make us to know the joy of Your salvation.

Thank You for Your Son, Jesus

Thank You for the walls of partition that have been broken down by His blood

Thank You for Your goodness to us in this land of the living

You indeed Father are more than enough, we are grateful.

Through Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    1. Yes, so many “Al’s”. But with God, we have so very many “ful’s” – merciful, beautiful, joyful, peaceful, joyful, plentiful, faithful…. 😉 Amen!

    1. The scripture at work my brother! Blessed be the name of our Lord. When we turn to Him in prayer, render sacrifices of praise, we never leave in the same way…somehow, He always gives us His peace. Praise Jesus forevermore 🙌🏽🙌🏽

    1. Oh praise the Lord. Thank you stopping by and for that pronouncing that declaration. The prayer was birth through a time of great sorrow and vulnerability. Praise God for relief and allowing us to see Him and realize He is truly all we need.
